Morro Bay is primarily known for a fairly large mountain of almost pure rock that sits on the peninsula just across the little bay from the town.
A Day in Morro Bay
Today my family and I are travelling on the California coast between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Tonight we are staying in the small bayside town of Morro Bay.
We are visiting a second cousin of mine who lives here. She has supported our ministry for years, but I haven’t even seen her since we were all together at my grandmother’s funeral, when I was a teenager.
Interestingly enough, the owners of the small motel where we are staying are from Taiwan and speak Mandarin. It was fun speaking Chinese to the lady as we were getting checked into the hotel… it almost felt like we were back in China.
