China Still Has Wilderness

This picture was taken yesterday, from the top of Taizi Shan (Crown Prince Peak) about 30 miles south of my home here in Asia’s Highlands.

The area surrouding this 13,000 ft. peak is a virtual untouched wilderness. Wolves, Mountain Sheep, deer, pheasant, and other wildlife still roam freely in this region.

The only inhabitants are a few remote Tibetan and Chinese Muslim homesteads. There are only 2 villages of any kind in this wilderness region surrounded by snow-capped mountains. One is called Big Grassy Riverbank and is a 100% Muslim village. The other is called “Dirt House” and is 100% Tibetan.

Please pray for us as we seek out effective ways to minister to the people living in this wilderness. One advantage of this region being so cut off from the rest of society is that we will have almost complete freedom in sharing the Gospel with the people!
