I might have time later this evening for a more substantial post, but for now I just wanted to write about how busy life has been for the past few days since my family and I arrived back in Oklahoma.

As a result of this busyness, I have not had any free time to focus and think about writing something of very much substance on my blog. As a matter of fact, I have not even had time (or been very motivated) to read many of the other blogs that I really enjoy. Nor have I been listening to the "Way of the Master" radio program as I am accustomed to doing.

I say all this just to make known that I am having a hard time adjusting my normal schedule for how I spend my free time when I am in China, to the new daily schedule that is coming together for me here in Oklahoma.

I hope to be able to settle down a bit soon, and be able to feel a little more grounded and have more free time to pray, read, think, and write. Please pray for my family as we continue this transition into a different culture for the next few months!

(The beautiful grandmother in the picture is MY grandmother Mabel. She was waiting for us at the airport when we flew in on Saturday evening. She just turned 89 years old on August 28th.)
