We are in the middle of a short 2 hour layover here in the Incheon International Airport outside of Seoul, Korea.

This has got to be one of the best-equipped airports in the world. There are tons of amenities, and many of them are 100% free!

For instance, I am sitting at small FREE internet cafe with about half dozen computers. There is no time limit. They just ask you to be considerate for others waiting in line to go online.

Only about 50 yards away, there are about 30-40 soft chairs that recline to almost a sleeping position. Of course, they are currently being utilized by a whole bunch of tired passengers looking for a good nap.

My kids are just a few yards to the left of the couch/chair area, playing in a monster “Kids Zone” with slides and toys of all kinds.

There are restaurants all around (a bit pricey, but cheaper than the US), water fountains and bathrooms close at hand, and free wireless internet available as well throughout the terminal.

And if you do want to spend some money, you can actually get a room at the “in-terminal” hotel, which is also just a minute or two away from where I am sitting. Room rates run about $50 for 6 hour blocks of time.

Well, we are off to Los Angeles within the hour, so I have to run. If you read this on Friday (American time), we will be in the air from about 6 am until 5 pm (CST).
