That is the name of the city in which we live, when translated literally from Chinese into English:

Overlooking the Summer River

And the picture to the left is of the Summer River, which runs right by our apartment and all the way through town.

We made it back home last evening at about dinnertime. This time of year, as you can see in the picture, is fairly hazy around here, because of the massive amounts of coal burned for heat and as fuel for cooking.
