I am currently on the trip that I mentioned in my last post. There are a number of things that I need to accomplish during these few days of traveling, the most important being spending time in the Word with a formerly Muslim brother in Christ who lives in a neighboring prefecture.

This morning we were all ready to head out to his village, but the rain came pouring down as we ate breakfast and I quickly received a text message from the brother telling us not to come because the roads would be treacherous with the heavy rainfall.

So other plans were quickly put in place and we were able to accomplish quite a bit despite the rain. But please pray that tomorrow afternoon (or possibly the following morning) we would be able to make it out to the village of "Xinying" to visit this brother.
