The past couple of days have been a good time of rest and fellowship for us. From Thursday evening until today (Sunday), we have been meeting together with a number of other co-workers in this region. It is a very diverse group.

For instance, this morning when we had a time of worship there were 5 Americans, 5 Brazilians, & 2 Peruvians present, along with two half-American/half-Brazilian children and 1 half-American/half-Peruvian (Gabriel) child.

All of those who were present are living in this immediate region, but this area is so ethnically diverse that we are almost all working among different people groups that each speak their own languages.

It has also been a rather chilly couple of days, with snow falling on Friday night and last night. Nothing too big, just a couple of inches total, but the first snowfall of the year here in this part of Asia’s Highlands.

While it is on my mind, I want to ask you to please join me in praying for the Bao’an people group. The Bao’an are Muslims and there are only 10,000 or so of them in the world. They speak their own language, which is slightly similar to Mongolian, and there has never been a known Christian among them. They only inhabit about 5 towns, all within just a couple of hours from where we are currently living.

  1. Bless you my dear Brother,

I sure hope the best for you as your make your plans to bring the gospel Message to these dear people.

I hope they have not learned of the Hatred that is so prevelant in the USA concerning Muslim’s. I have had several Muslims to attend the church where I pastored and they were wonderful. All of my Muslim friends are just great folks. I do not understand the conflict that we see in the world seen, but come to thank of it Never have understood that side of the news 🙂

Bless you dearly for you efforts in touching this precious group that Jesus loves dearly, Sir!!!!

    Brother Damon
