This picture was taken a couple weeks ago from the living room of our 3rd story apartment. The highest point on the mountain in the background is 15,210 ft. It is about 25 miles away. Much of the year this mountain is not visible at all, because of the pollution that fills the air. Notice the coal smoke billowing out of the restaurant in the foreground.
