Welcome to a remote Tibetan village. We passed through this small outpost the other day on our way to the river (see yesterday’s post) and stopped to try and to have lunch. Unfortunately, the cook that I knew was not around at the small cafe where we wanted to eat, so we decided to continue on to another small town for lunch.

I visited this same village a little over a month ago and had the opportunity to share the Gospel with the cook, who is a Muslim. I was hoping on this day to visit this cook again to continue sharing the Gospel with him. At some point I will be able to go back, so please pray that the seeds that were planted in his heart would bear fruit!

This village is one of the dirtiest and poorest places around in this part of the Tibetan Plateau. This is the main street you see in the picture above. Although the place is very poor by most standards, the people can still be very friendly. Please pray for the lady and children in the picture below!

  1. I must say that those girls look really cute. Thanks for uploading pics like those. Is there anything in specific to pray for?

  2. Pray for their salvation! Pray that God would work sovereignly in raising up laborers to preach the Gospel and live like Jesus among them.
