Yesterday I think we crossed at least a dozen different mountain passes. Today, we also crossed a number of large mountains, including one pass that is higher than 16,000 ft. above sea level!
However, more than anything else I will remember today for the many (at least a dozen) rivers we had to drive through as we followed the dirt path through hours of completely deserted wilderness in a June snowstorm.
Needless to say it was quite an experience.
But the praise report is that we have made it safely to our primary destination for this trip. Thank you for praying!
I have already had the chance to talk with our other team members who are here, and with Noel especially, and we have decided to move him to a lower altitude as soon as possible. We will leave on Sunday heading back towards the city I call home here in China. There he will be able to get checked up at the local hospital and get some rest.
Thank you also to those of you who have been praying for Noel!
