The picture to the left is a good example of why it is nice to have such good and inexpensive car repair available so close at hand here in China.

This picture was taken at a small turnoff on top of an 11,000 ft. mountain pass just a couple hours from our current home.

Don’t let the smooth pavement in the background deceive you, because just a few feet to the right just off the picture is where the ‘real’ road begins; dozens of miles of dirt, rocks, cliffs, holes, ice, and the occasional flock of sheep.

The dirt road that I just described makes the gravel where the car is parked in the picture look like a nice, newly paved highway.
