Yesterday we finally made it to the place we have been aiming to get to.... the beach!

With Noel's surgery, we were set back nearly a week in all from getting to a relaxing place on the beach.

Cherating Beach, shown in the picture to the left, is where we will be spending the next two weeks. We were able to rent two small chalets right on the edge of the beach.

We are just hoping that the weather will change a little bit for the better. It is really humid and hazy these days and, even though it hasn't rained much, the skies are almost always partly to mostly cloudy.

The picture is a good example of the kind of weather we are having. We are hoping for more blue & sunny skies in the coming weeks!
