One of my wife's friends, a Chinese lady who married a Muslim (and converted to Islam), sells these toys in the evenings at a nearby park and the other day gave one to Gabriel as a gift.

This is quite a picture. We met a couple on the street just down from our apartment building (you can see our building in the background), and their baby is exactly Gabriel's age. Neither of them look too excited about having their picture taken together.

This is more like the Gabriel I know. Just a few minutes ago, my wife called me in to Gabriel's room to try and take his picture 'sitting up'. This was about the 6th take. The first 5 takes, he was either sitting up and not smiling, or smiling but falling over.
