Hitchhiking Monks

Yesterday morning, as I was driving back home from the Tibetan city where our guys are now living, I was able to pick up 2 Tibetan monks on the side of the road and carry them on into town. This is cool because while they are in the car with me, I have the freedom to talk about what I want and play whatever music I like. So I put in a cd that is full of Tibetan praise & worship songs for the monks to listen to.

This is a common way for me to share the Gospel in this region using the things that God has provided us (a car!). Please pray for these monks and for the many others who have heard and will continue to hear the Gospel as we drive down the highway.

  1. Wei,

I can ‘t get to my old email so easy because of firewalls.

If you need to get aholt of me write to the above email.

I may need to talk to you about an opportunity.

I will be in TianJian in Nov. for bidness’ sakes

  2. Very cool! What a great way to steward your resources. And, I have to say, I loved the mental image of monks playing basketball in their traditional outfits. How funny!

  3. Bless you for your efforts to touch the Monks with the love and redeeming message of Jesus Christ Saviour and soon coming King. 🙂 PTL!!!

Be blessed and pray for Marilyn and me as we are now retired. My first cousin Dalton Burrows died yesterday with Cancer. He is about 60 years old and was the best of all my uncle’s children.

Have a super day and know you are in the prayers of Damon & Marilyn
